Josey the Dog needs a home

Josey is an approximately 15 lb 2-3 year old black chi mix with white and brown markings. She is spayed and vetted, potty trained, enjoys cats and has begun to play with other dogs in her foster home. She was very, very scared and nervous when she ws originally surrended to the shelter and suffered from separation anxiety, but the staff and volunteers lovingly worked with her until she moved to a foster home. Josie has been able to overcome a great deal of her separation anxiety in her foster home, but she still needs work and needs a patient, quiet home with someone home all day, no children and a family willing to work with her on crate training and feeling secure. She is a lovely girl who adores being held when she feels safe and secure. A quiet, patient retired couple would be best to help her deal with her abandonment issues and allow her to continue to blossom.
